This is no ordinary post to our Midwest Service Group, Inc. Blog. No, this is a post that comes after 11 years of hosting an annual golf tournament and finally getting to announce that “YES, someone did make a Hole in One and was awarded a very big prize!” Pictured here is our Vice President Corey Elliott with golf tournament participant Peter Gallagher who make the lucky Hole in One shot. Corey presented Peter with a check in excess of $47,000.00 for making the Hole in One. Besides Peter walking away with money for sinking this awesome shot, the insurance policy that we purchase for our annual golfing event also has a provision on the policy that “IF” someone makes a Hole in One, that the charity that our tournament benefits receives a check for $10,000.00. We have been benefiting United Services for Children for years at our annual golf tournament but we were absolutely thrilled to be able to stop in at their offices on 10-23-19 and present United Services for Children with 10k.
Thanks to everyone who helped to put on the annual Midwest Service Group, Inc. Golf Tournament. This is one tournament none of us will ever forget! Thank you J.W. Terrill Insurance for being awesome partners with our business all these years, we appreciate that every year when we call to purchase this special event policy “just in case” that you make it simple and explain everything completely so we know just what to do when “one day” become “that day” when someone gets a Hole in One. Congratulations and best wishes to Peter and to United Services! Everyone here is delighted for you both!
